Diane Jacobs is a Holocaust survivor and a staunch proponent of Fusia and Joe being recognized for their experience.  Diane was close to both Fusia and Joe until Joe died and then we lost touch her.

As a girl, Diane’s parents took her to the 1936 Olympics in Munich where she sat a stone’s throw away from Adolf Hitler.  A fierce fighter, Diane escaped certain death by managing to stab and kill her Nazi SS soldier captor.

While Diane was fierce in her pursuit of a goal, particularly in having Fusia continually recognized for her bravery by local, State and Federal officials, her husband and she were warm hearted, kind people.

Our family has deep gratitude and appreciate for Diane.
