I am so very glad to have read your story and think you are a very brave woman. I am proud to know that hate didn’t permeate every Pole and that some of us where willing to step up and do what is right. While I am American, my heritage is Polish and I am proud to include this story in my lexicon of what it means to be a Polish descendant. Your bravery and resilience inspire me to continue to live day by day and appreciate every day that we have on this earth. Thank you for surviving. Thank you for telling your story. Thank you for restoring hope. I hope your story will continue to be a reminder to all those who would perpetuate hate that love will endure for as long as it has to, like a desert seed that waits a hundred years to bloom.
