Hi, my name is Leanna. I love to read, and when I saw the book The Light in Hidden Places by Sharon Cameron I was intrigued. I, however, didn’t know what I was about to read. I read the back of the book, and was astonished. A girl who hid 13 Jews during WW2? it didn’t sound real. But I read the book, and i was once again astounded. It was true. A 16 yr old girl had hid 13 Jews during WW2 while working all day with 2 Germans in her house. And, her younger sister hadn’t said a word, helping her the whole way. This story truly inspired me, and I thank you for you and your sisters bravery. The world needs more people like you.
